Returns & Refunds Policy

At TopCaddy AU Tech, we comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and are committed to providing fair and transparent returns and refund policies.

This policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding returns, refunds, and warranties.


📌 1. Change of Mind Returns

We do offer returns or refunds for change of mind within 7 days.

Change of mind includes, but is not limited to:

  • Deciding you no longer want the product
  • Ordering the wrong item
  • Finding the product cheaper elsewhere
  • No longer needing the product after purchase

This policy applies especially to products that have NOT been used, assembled, or operated, including electric golf buggies. The products must be returned with the original packaging, and do not affect the merchant's ability to resell. For change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and the original shipping fee is non-refundable.


📌 2. Returns for Faulty or Defective Products

You are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law if the product:

  • Is faulty or defective
  • Is not as described
  • Is unsafe or not fit for its intended purpose

Depending on the nature of the fault, we will offer:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund

The remedy provided will be determined in accordance with ACL guidelines.


📌 3. Minor vs Major Faults

  • Minor fault:
    We may choose to repair the product within a reasonable time.
  • Major fault:
    You are entitled to choose between a replacement or a refund.

A major fault includes situations where:

  • The product is unsafe
  • The fault cannot be fixed easily or within a reasonable time
  • The product is significantly different from its description

📌 4. Used Products

Products that have been used, operated, or assembled are not eligible for return unless they are confirmed to be faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or damage caused by improper handling are not considered faults.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

  • If the product is confirmed to have a fault covered under ACL, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
  • If the issue is not confirmed as a fault, return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

📌 7. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider (Normally within 1 day).
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

This Returns & Refunds Policy operates alongside our Warranty Policy and does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
